Making yogurt is a difficult task. Even if you make yogurt, lots of people don’t know how to utilize it. Yogurt is an essential element in daily diet and according to famous dieticians you should use yogurt twice daily. But the question is how to use yogurt so that the people who don’t like it can eat it somehow.

There are a lot of yogurt recipes available online. You can use those recipes to make delicious dishes and desserts so that each member of your family can add home made yogurt into their daily diet.


I am going to share with you some of the famous recipes so that you can use yogurt to make them in your home and enjoy it with your family and keep yourself healthy and fresh.


The first recipe I am going to share with you is the Greek one called “Greek Yogurt with back and blueberry sauces”.

For this you need:

  • Half cup frozen blueberries
  • Half cup frozen black berries
  • ½ cup water
  • Sugar according to your taste
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp. butter
  • 2 cups Greek yogurt.

Take a saucepan and add blueberries, blackberries, water and sugar and heat all the ingredients till boiling. Reduce the heat and let the mixture to thicken. It will probably take 5 to 10 minutes on medium heat. After the sauce gets thick add butter and let it to stir.

Put half cup of yogurt in 4 bowls and fill the 4 bowls with the sauce you made with the procedure shown above. Put the bowls in freezer and let it to cool. Serve the yogurt with chilled berries on the top.


The second recipe that I am going to share with you guys is called the “Chicken Cheese Sandwich”. You might be thinking that where is yogurt used in this recipe? Hold that for a minute and read the full recipe. I assure you that you had never eaten yummier sandwich than this before.

The ingredients you need for making this sandwich are:

  • 2-3 tbsp. Greek yogurt
  • 2-3 tbsp. Mayonnaise
  • Half a cup of cheese
  • Olive oil 2-3 tbsp.
  • A breast of chicken
  • Salt and pepper according to taste

The recipe goes like this. First of all take olive oil in a pan and add strips of chicken breast in it and sauté it till it gets tender. Add salt and pepper according to your taste. You can also add olives and mushrooms to make the sandwich all the more delicious and yummy.

After the chicken is ready, take yogurt and add mayonnaise and cheese in it. Mix it well to make a sauce. Take buns and put chicken on it. Then pour the sauce made of yogurt. Grill the sandwich and serve it with ketchup. You delicious sandwich is ready to eat.
