very good food exellent service!!

Four of us had lunch today. We ordered 2 veal dishes, chicken parmegiano and a chicken salad. The salad that came with the entre was mediocre (out of a bag), the soup very bland (out of a can), but the actual veal dishes were good. I ordered the chicken and they brought veal by mistake, and when I brought it to their attention, the server said NO, you ordered veal. Everyone at our table heard me order chicken, but the server ignored that, and didn't apologize. We paid $14.95 for the veal (the chicken was $10.95) I didn't appreciate being called a liar. Also, the charming child (approx. 2 years old) of one of the staff was in the dining room the whole time - totally unattended. She sat near our table on the floor with about 100 rubber bands, which she appeared to be eating. She also was sticking small candles up her nose. We brought this to the attention of our server, who did absolutely nothing about it. The 2 year old continued to wander about the dining room causing a comotion and demanding attention from the few diners. This will be our last visit to this establishment. The room adjacent to the main dining room was cluttered with toys, a tricycle, debris. Overall, it was a very bizarre experience. I don't know how they stay in business.

Charming, lovely music... Delicious food. A great place for a Cappuccino as well... Desserts to die for... I am a Catalina artist, who refuels her soul at Vitello's. Oh, and the owner's really are Italian. The sister is so fun and will share little stories with you... Palermo and such... So wonferful!! Vanessa Valencia
