For a truly unique experience and food in the Sonoran Desert, with a Louisana touch, check this locally owned restaurant out. Located on the west side of town, just south of A mountain. The owner, Mr. Jim Clayton, is usually always around cooking, greeting guest, or hanging out. Mr. Clayton is a very friendly guy full of hospitality and great stories, to intrigue and/or crack up any guest, delievered with a genuine sense of humor. You can get, among other items, burgers and fries(cut fresh on order), catfish sandwhiches, and alligator!!!! (shipped fresh from Louisana)

If Clayton isn't there when you arrive wait around a few minutes he just went out to get feed for the horses he keeps just behinde the resturant!!! Its the kinda place you can go to eat or just order some beers and enjoy the cool air and eclectic interior. Never any pressure to leave this place no matter how long you have relaxed in there enjoying the freindly conversation with the regulars, from within the neighborhood its located within.

It's Tucson's unknown portal which transports you into the deep south's laidback, friendly, and charming atmosphere. An oasis for me in the southwest. You'll relieze this as you step out the front door upon leaving and remember you have been in the arizona desert the whole time!
